Emmanuelle Burkic

Emmanuelle Burkic is a lawyer in the Health/Life Sciences team at jasper avocats alongside Olivier Saumon, Céline Roquelle-Meyer and Jean-François Laigneau.

She holds a double Master's degree in French and German law from the Paris 1 - Panthéon Sorbonne University, in association with the University of Cologne. She also graduated from the Paris 2 - Panthéon Sorbonne University with a Master’s degree in European business law, followed by an internship at the Court of Justice of the European Union.

As member of the Paris Bar since 2019, Emmanuelle has worked for seven years in an international law firm, where she has developed a solid expertise in managing complex, cross-border product liability litigation (vaccines, drugs, implants, clinical trials).

She is pursuing this activity at jasper avocats where she works on cases involving medical liability litigation, before both civil and administrative courts, as well as litigation relating to the disciplinary liability of healthcare professionals.

Emmanuelle advises healthcare companies, in particular when regrouping medical activities or restructuring their companies. She is also involved in the negotiation and drafting of professional practice agreements.
